This Just In | Nintendo Announces New 3DS Pokémon Games

One of my first thoughts, see­ing the graph­i­cal capa­bil­i­ties of the 3DS, was how long I’d have to wait for a Poké­mon game designed from the ground up for the sys­tem.  It looks as though Nin­ten­do has final­ly giv­en us our answer.  Today, they announced the Octo­ber release of the lat­est games in the portable mon­ster bat­tling series Poké­mon X and Y.  With some new starter poké­mon and some amaz­ing-look­ing new graph­ics both in and out of bat­tle it’s look­ing pret­ty amaz­ing.  For­tu­nate­ly, you don’t need to take my word for it, because they’ve already released this spiffy trail­er for your enjoyment.
